Everyone say Cheese!

Portrait season is in full swing with the holidays just around the corner!

I recently did these portraits and talk about fun! Brothers, sisters and cousins,

these kids were so much fun to photograph, they were goofy,

they were high energy and they just couldn’t stop giggling and laughing,

just writing this is making me smile.

I have to say the group shots are some of my favs!

Rake, Pile, Jump and Smile!

Autumn has arrived which means the weather is cooling down

and the leaves are changing colours and falling from the trees.

So what better time to rake up the leaves and jump into family portraits!!!!

This shoot was so much fun!  We got to have a blast playing in the leaves,

captured some amazing pics and shared a lot of laughs!

Lil Ole Rockton Fair

Thanksgiving weekend usually mean an amazing turkey dinner,

 but for our family we have always had the amazing tradition

of heading out to the local fall fairs with the family

and showing cattle all weekend! Rockton’s World Fair

has always been our favourite and the kick off to the weekend

with the 4H and beef cattle show on Saturday.

After years of showing at this fair I was absolute honoured

when they asked me to photograph the show and things happening around the barns. 

 So from clipping and fitting to the show ring showdown

here are some of the highlights from the day!

 

Aggie at Heart

Round bales, tractors, jeans and a loved pair of cowboy boots!

Combine this all with some great laughs and this is a recipe

for an incredible photo session down on the farm.

I jumped at the chance to photograph one of my good friends

when she mentioned getting some portraits done.

She is a true Aggie at heart and it was only suiting to head down

to the farm to capture some incredible pics.

4H at the Fair

I grew up in 4H so I love this time of year when all the fall fairs are in full swing! It’s so much fun heading out to the local fair catching up with old friends,
taking in the 4H shows, buying local produce from the farmers market,
taking a ride on the midway and of course the cotton candy!
