Its official Robb & Ashley are now hitched!
I had so much fun with this couple and was absolutely
honoured to help them capture photos as they said I Do!
The morning of their wedding started as most pre wedding
mornings do… a morning walk with my pup followed by breakfast, a quick double
check of my gear and a quick look at the weather before hitting the road. I
tend to religiously check the weather the week leading up to a wedding. Not too
sure why, as they are rarely right, but better to be prepared. The weatherman
decided today would be hot, mostly sunny with a 40% chance of scattered
showers. In my world 40-50% chance of
rain, means we said there is chance in case it does rain, so I wasn't too
worried. Plus the wonderful bride, an extremely organized young lady,
already had a rain location picked out and ready should we need it, so I packed
up my car and headed out for what was sure to be a great day.
First stop was the hall… decorated in farm country chic, the
place looked absolutely incredible! I was in love with all the small personal
touches and incredible decor
From the barn board backdrop to the burlap and
twinkle lights elegantly hung from the ceiling, everything looked awesome! I
especially loved the red wine bar, their amazing idea for their seating chart
and the beautiful pie table. So many fun
details, so little time… I had so much fun photographing the hall, but I had a
date with a lovely bride and her bridesmaids, so I loaded up and headed over to
the B&B to see Ashley and the girls.
I arrived at the B&B and so far the weather was on our
side, beside a couple small sprinkles there really wasn't
much rain. So game
plan was to do some photos outside. I grabbed the beautiful bride, who was absolutely
stunning, and took her outside for a couple quick pics. Quick being the
operative word, as we barely got two photos done before it started to pour. Some
would say that rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck. If so, Robb
& Ashley you are set :)
Not sure if it was the luck working, but 30 minutes before
the ceremony was set to start the rain stopped. With time to spare we got some more photos of
both the guys and gals outside. And just as the sun started to shine it was
time for the I Do’s. After a beautiful ceremony in Ashley’s hometown church, Robb
& Ashley were officially hitched as husband and wife.
Guests were invited for cocktails as we did photos and got a
great surprise when the new Mr. & Mrs. rode in on a horse drawn wagon.
Joining their guests for some refreshing cocktails and great company the gang relaxed
before heading over to the reception
hall where they were treated to an amazing meal and incredible party. All in all, it was an awesome day and the
perfect way to celebrate the new Mr & Mrs!
Congratulations Ashley & Robb! I wish you both a
lifetime of love, happiness and wonderful memories! Thanks again for letting me
be a part of your special day!
